19.03.07 – FINA World Aquatic Championship –Melbourne 17th March – 1st April 2007

Unfortunately not a great start for Ben Swain or the rest of the British swimming team. Nick Robinson-Baker, Ben’s synchro partner has twisted his ankle dry-land training in preparation for the Synchro event at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. There are now three injured divers in the British team.
Ben is still due to compete in the Men’s 3m on Thursday 22nd with the final on Friday 23rd March. He now needs to prepare himself mentally for his event, in spite of the disappointments that have already occurred.
