10.03.07 - Jade Allen and Natalie Grant compete in the National Cross Country Championships, Sunderland

Jade Allen and Natalie Grant competed in the National Cross Country Championships, at Herrington Park in Sunderland today and despite the terrible weather conditions and a difficult course they managed to pull together as a team and win Gold, retaining their National Title and the gold from last year. It has been three months since Jade has competed in a race of this scale due to illness, but after today’s performance she seems to have built up her fitness and has come back even stronger than before. Jade achieved 15th place, her highest position ever in a National race. Jade and Natalie’s next race is the English Schools Cross Country Championships at Leeds on 24th March.
