09:12:06 - Amber competes in the NOE Open Championships

Today Amber Merrills competed in the North of England Open Championships at EIS – Sheffield. With this being the first competition of the season, Amber chose to compete just in Shot put, as she felt she was not quite ready to compete in the other four pentathlete events. Amber was pleased with her performance and came out of the competition with her personal best. Amber is now in a position where she can build on her technique and performance and measure her progress over the coming season against this Personal Best.
