02.09.07 Ben Swain competes in the FINA Diving World Series 2007

Ben Swain has competed this weekend at the first meet of the FINA Diving World Series in Sheffield (GBR). Following the 12th FINA world Championships in Melbourne (AUS) and the FINA Diving Grand Prix circuit, Great Britain has hosted this event and has welcomed the best divers of the world including two Olympic champions, four additional Olympic medalists, 12 World champions and 24 World Championship medalists.
This prestigious event found Ben Swain and his synchro partner Nicholas Robinson-Baker competing against the highest ranked divers of the 12th FINA World Championships 2007, the World’s best springboard divers. Today Ben and Nicholas claimed Britain’s first medal of the competition in the Men’s 3m Synchro. With both Ben and Nicholas scoring personal bests in each round they are delighted with their performance and have their sights firmly set on the Olympics.
