Why film & digital media?

I have developed my interest in filmmaking over the past two years and particularly enjoy it as I can express my ideas and I can be creative. In August this year I made a 15 second short film, which was quite a challenge. First of all I storyboarded my idea, then I developed this idea into a script. I then filmed and edited it, producing appropriate sound effects to complete the film. I met C Media Productions through a friend who is currently undertaking some training with them. From there I was involved in making 15 second shorts for the Nokia Film Festival. While with C Media Productions I have learnt how to white balance a camera, edit footage from a tape in Final-Cut and how to create a simple background.

Why get involved with the Dreams Project?

I am looking forward to meeting new people and working with professional filmmakers. I consider this to be a valuable experience during which time I will be able to develop skills that I can use in my other projects.
