SNCLC Photographic Workshop

Following a series of workshops at Sheffield North City Learning Centre delivered by Dreams Project Photographer Richard Hanson, a group of enthusiastic members of the Sheffield Flickr group have further developed their creative and technical photography skills. Working alongside Toni Dye, Taekwondo, and Ben Bowns, Ice Hockey, they have produced a series of high quality Dreams images that appear on this website. Their images have also been developed further into print based media including photo books and postcards.

Matt Lollar

My name is matt lollar, I am a 22 year old American living in Britain but married to a British gal. My wife would say I have to many hobbies but photography is what I love most. I got into photography when I was a kid, my dad had me hooked when he first let me play with his old canon A-1 slr. Now I hope to make a career out of photography, but I have a long way to go!

This course has been amazing for me because it has pushed me to do the things I am not very good at when it comes to photography….one of those things being quick at taking pictures, whilst maintaining a certain level of artistic and creative ability. Getting to work with the athletes was a lot of fun!
